Program Objectives

Confirm locations and identify aquatic weeds

 Aggressive non-native vegetation will be referred to the Tri-County Lake Administrative Commission’s (TLAC) treatment program

Confirm locations and identify types of algae and determine what conditions may contribute to the outbreak

What You Can Do

 

Call 540-719-WEED (9333) to report weeds or algae in the lake

 

A trained volunteer will contact you to verify the location & visit the site to take a sample.

***Volunteers will provide you with information regarding licensed contractors available for treatment options***
